The Bloody Countess, Carmilla by Japanda
Mini Bio: (www.lou-pimentel.com) Janda "Japanda" Farley's work is well-known mainly for her fun pin-ups, vivid and vibrant emotions, and deeply detailed dreamscapes. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Japanda has since lived in Germany, Georgia, and Florida where she currently resides with writer and poet, Daniel W. Butler. Since the tender age of 10, Japanda has taught herself anatomy, color theory, and proportion. Now 20, she applies her talents to large-scale paintings, (both acrylic and oil) sculptures, costume making, and traditional japanese headress.
Villains: Straight from the spell-binding film, “Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust” comes Japanda’s version of Yoshiyaki Kawajiri’s infamous bloody vampiress. Painted in acrylic, and stained multiple times, she patiently stalks all with her piercing eyes and a grin, waiting for her next victim.
