- ART: Luke Chueh will be releasing a set of 4 mini prints. 1 of each 10 sets bring a chase/extra print. They are signed, numbered, and edition of 500 and $80 USD. For more info click here.

- Kicks by Subtext and DC Shoes, a custom kicks show with artists: Julie West, Angry Woebots, Jasper Wong & many more. Show Opens Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at subtext in San Diego, CA.

- Target Practice Solo Show by Jonathan Viner at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC. Most of the peices have sold but it is still worth checking out the amazing work.





- TV: If you haven't seen Demetri Martin's Special on Comedy Central you definitely should. He is the comedian version of the Moldy Peaches and puts videos, plays the guitar and piano and gives a presentation of his findings all in one stand up routine. It doesn't get any funnier or cuter than this.

- MOVIES: Cloverfield was a gigantic success. I haven't seen it yet but if you would like some of your questions answered check out the Official Cloverfield Site the pictures might be giving you what you were asking for.

- MUSIC: Coachella the California Music Festival is a couple months away and they have announced their line up including artists: portishead, Rilo Kiley, Kraftwerk, Death Cab For Cutie, The Verve, The Breeders, Stars and oh so many more. Check out their site for the entire list. It takes place April 25th - 27th.

David Horvath will be releasing the the Ice Bat Ugly Kaiju based of his Uglydolls character Ice Bat. It will be a limited edition of 300 and it will be available at www.pinkghost.net so keep an eye out for it :)

Sam Flores' final Fatima, Bird Headdress Fatima, will be released in February 2008. It will have 2 different colorways.

DGPH is about to release a new vinyl toy of one of their original sculpts. This little creature is called Berenjena (Eggplant in Spanish) and it has a removable head with another little guy inside. We <3 DGPH :)

Joe Ledbetter's Mono Gamerita will be available in March at www.pinkghost.net. It is a limited edition of 100!

We are having a mini munny custom art show at pinkghost and you are invited to participate. Yay! Make sure we receive your custom mini munny by May 1, 2008 and you are in the show!

Rules, Details & Stuff:

• Limit 1 entry per person.
• Opening Night will be Saturday, May 17, 2008.
• We must receive your custom mini munny by May 1, 2008.
• You decide if your mini munny is for sale or not for sale.
• As soon as you are sure you will participate EMAIL US! So we can include you name on the flyer and all the promotion of the custom show.
• Send us pictures of your finished customized mini munny as soon as possible if you want your mini munny to be considered for the flyer.
• When you drop off your mini munny make sure to leave all of your contact information including name, phone number, and email.

- MOVIES: JUNO - was awesome! I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the Moldy Peaches (Kimya Dawson & Adam Green) during the movie. Kimya Dawson did an absolutely superb job directing the score of the film. Paulie Bleeker/Michael Cera is the perfect dream guy. Juno is definitely worth checking out and it has a ton of brownie cool brownie points with honorable mentions/flashes of Tara McPherson, David Choe, Sonic Youth, a hamburger phone and more.

- P.S. I Love You, on the other hand, I walked out of the theater for this one.



- TOYS: mimoco will release their designer flash drive mimobots Star Wars Series 2, which includes Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo.



- DGPH has released their new vinyl toy based on their original sculpt of their mole. It's 5 inches tall and there will be 4 colorways.



- There will be a baby treeson mini series in 2008. Yay!

- MUSIC: WEEN will be playing if Ft.Laurderdale at Revolution. February 2, 2008. On that note, you can check out WEEN's studio here.

- Michael Stipe, from R.E.M. turns 48 today, which by the way will be playing at Langerado. Langerado you say? Read below for more details on that :)

- Langerado Music Festival will take place at the Cypress Reservation March 9 through March 11. Artists include: Beastie Boys / R.E.M. / Built To Spill / Of Montreal / Blind Melon / The Walkmen and soooo many more.
