- ART: The Well, Greg Simkins' Solo Show at M Modern Gallery opens Saturday, March 15, 2008.



- Tara McPherson has opened her Solo Show Lost Constellations at Jonathan LeVine Gallery with original paintings and resin sculptures. Her sculptures are of her famous balloon character Mr. Wiggles & her skull flowers. To see more click here



- Jeff Soto will be releasing a new giclee print War Clouds. It is a limited edition of 50, 20" x 14" and will be $250.


- Andrew Bell will have his solo show opening at Gallery 1988 in LA with paintings, drawings, sculptures and more. Burning Desire opens March 4th and runs through the 27th. Andrew Bell will be attending the opening.

- Baby Tattooville 2008 is starting to come together & announcing attending artists including Glenn Barr, Joe Ledbetter and Michael Whelan.
It will take place October 3-5, 2008 at the Historic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa in Riverside, California. For more info click here.


- Hi-Fructose Volume 7 Arrives in March. Featuring: Paul Pope (cover artist), an extensive feature on the art of and interview with Chris Mars, the art of Naoto Hattori, Xiaoqing Ding, KrK Ryden, ghost stories: the art of Edwin Ushiro, and the collage murals of Freek Drent. Plus Kukula, KMNDZ, Brian Dettmer, Amy Casey, Jonathan Wayshak, Gregory Jacobsen, Peap, Dave Cooper's "Bent" Show, Designer Vinyl, and much more.



- Audrey Kawasaki had her Solo Show Opening, Mayoi Michi, at Copro Nason Gallery on February 9, 2008. New pieces on canvas instead of her trademark wood
background highlights new detail to her beautiful work. Don't worry, some of her pieces are wood grain as well. You can see some more here.

- MUSIC: Radiohead has released some dates of their U.S. tour.

- TV: SNL returned to the air on February 23rd with host Tina Fey with the highest ratings in 2 years. March 1st will have Ellen Page (Juno) as host.

- Fan of Flight Of The Conchords? HBO has created a new channel on youtube with episodes of In Treatment, Flight of the Conchords and more stuff.

- MISC: Tokidoki confirms he will release bags branded as only Tokidoki in his interview with Josh Spears.

- TOYS: Andrew Bell is at it again :) Vinylpulse has been covering the progress on the production of his new Vinyl Figure, The Giver. It will come in two colorways, Orange (edition of 100) and the standard edition blue (edition on 300) & it also brings a cool flame accessory.

- Coarsetoys, known for their exceptional and powerful sculptings, just dropping the monster 1:3 scale (25 inch) Pain edition of the Flake figure in conjunction with Vans. The rotocast vinyl Figure is limited to an edition of 400. It goes for $290 USD, but com'on, it is enormous! If you are interested in one please email us at info@pinkghost.net.



- Mechtorians Series 1 are Doktor A's cool mini figures scheduled to be released Fall 2008. They are not blind boxed :) and 6 different characters come in Series 1.



- Talking about mini series, Kathie Olivas also has a mini series coming up called Scavengers. These are blind boxed with chases and all. Benny and Red Bird Blue version is scheduled to

- M.A.C. cosmetics released their collab with FAFI for a line of FAFI cosmetics. They produced 3 FAFI dolls to promote the new line. They are only available at M.A.C stores & go for $9 USD.



- Joe Ledbetter released Bummer, silver hand cast toy with a limited dition of 100.



- In other Ledbetter news, pictures of the "Candy Smash" version have been released. We will carry both Smash versions at pinkghost. So keep an eye out for them :)
